active DEVELOPING: The Dallas Cowboys and RB Ezekiel Elliott are progressing towards a long-term deal, per @ktfuntweets of @1053thefandfw. 
According to Turner, Elliott is flying back to Dallas on Saturday as he and team officials close in on an agreement. 
Turner says both sides were in contact late last night, and hope to finalize a deal sometime this weekend.

active Day 2, Part 2/2, 26.5km 475m elevation total

The second part of the day 2 was gruelling. Although there was no more rain, the path was extremely rocky and by the end of the day, my feet were aching. Finding a spot to camp near a water source past Sälka, where the last CP was, was also incredibly difficult. I finally found a spot on the side of a hill, which was quiet and just by a river. I was very happy to put my tent up for the night!

active **weightloss post: if that sorta thing triggers you, don't read**
This is the first time I've been in the "120s" since 2018 (mind you I didn't start trying to actively lose weight until a couple of months ago).
Again, not doing any fancy or complicated. I've never subscribed to any particular way of eating (keto, low carb, ect). In MY opinion and personal experience (remember, WAY back in the day I had over 50 pounds to lose) those kind of diets are not only not needed... they aren't sustainable! I'm simply tracking my food (any and all kinds of food) in MFP, and using a Fitbit to track my steps (aiming for 10,000 a day) and my workouts (workouts have always remained a constant in my life since around '11). A LOT of people over complicate weightloss. The formula is actually incredibly simple. Calories in vs calories out (keeping in mind that certain calories will help your body feel better than others, but the yummy ones are needed from time to time to keep ya sane). Move your body more. It truly is that easy. You just have to remain CONSISTENT. 
I'm very close to reaching my personal weightloss goal, and then at that point, the goal changes. I will increase my daily calories a bit, so that I don't continue to lose (in other words, I'll shift to eating at maintenance). This will also be important in order to not lose muscle mass. 
Anyways, that's my update. This is what I originally started this page for (an online health/ fitness "diary" so to speak).... and that's what I'm doin' again😝🔥💪

active If any of you saw my stories at the beginning of the month you might remember the running calendar I made. It was a personal goal of mine to run 2 miles by the end of August. Each week I added .25 to my mile. It sounded easy peasy. Totally doable. Well, it’s not happening. And only simply because I haven’t pushed myself. However, I think I scared myself with thinking that goal MAYBE wasn’t attainable so I just stopped running altogether. Which is so uncool because I had just began enjoying running. So- distance goals aside, I’m deciding to say screw the calendar and focus on running for the enjoyment of moving my body. One day I’ll run a 5k, it just won’t be next month. 🤣 All this to say, just because you don’t meet a personal goal that you made doesn’t mean you’ve FAILED. Maybe just readjust and refocus on a different part of that goal. I ran this morning for the first time in 18 days and had one of my best times. It felt so good. And you know why? Because I DON’T HATE running anymore. I can’t believe I just said that. I’ve just got to work on not trying to rush my progress and enjoy it instead. 😘 *preaching to myself*

If any of you saw my stories at the beginning of the month you might remember the running calendar I made. It was a personal goal of mine to run 2 miles by the end of August. Each week I added .25 to my mile. It sounded easy peasy. Totally doable. Well, it’s not happening. And only simply because I haven’t pushed myself. Now, consider what would happen if the food just sat there, if the warehouse doors remained locked. It would spoil and then it would rot.

Before long, what could have been so useful to so many, would be worthless. What a terrible waste!

Now consider that the days, the moments and the opportunities in your life are even more perishable than fresh produce.

A moment that is wasted with negative, limiting thoughts can never be reclaimed.

Opportunities not acted upon bring nothing but stinging regret. What a terrible waste!

You are abundantly full of life and energy and creativity. Don’t let them spoil from neglect.
